A Journey to Tandi

Location: West Kalimantan, Indonesia

After a conversation of convoluted criteria on what makes us happy. The son of a wise man responded that happiness is “when we can eat rice and have no debt.” Amid complexities, life is also so very simple. I am forever grateful to @ylm_ones for sharing his home, culture, and passion with us. And to @kuntono for being the connector, educator and the force that inspires us to put forth our best. The first photo is Yohanes in traditional Dayak clothes as he showed us one of many Dayak dances and the last is his father wearing a headhunters crown crafted with the teeth of animals from their home jungle (dating back generations!)
